A recent paper open access paper appeared about
prehistoric human migration in Sundaland in response to
sea level rise.

I do not know enough to evaluate the discussion
of their reconstruction of prehistoric human migrations
using genomic studies.

However, it should be of great interest to members and
visitors of Ma'at that the supplementary information contains
a downloadable animamtion of the flooding of Sundaland.
This animation takes into consideration the effects of glacial
isostatic adjustment in addition to eustatic sea level rises and
other factors, which makes better than previous reconstructions
of the submergence. Also, it can be downloaded.
