I wondered whether Gonkoken nanoi (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gonkoken) was in any way related to Ornithorhynchus anatinus (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Platypus), i.e., the duck-billed platypus.

But Gonkoken nanoi belongs to the extinct genus hadrosauroid.

While Ornithorhynchus anatinus belongs to the genus Ornithorhynchus.

So I guess there's no relationship at all; and that all they share is the description "duck-billed."
