Hi,

Nothing really brand new, but as I'm returning to a project where I'm studying superhydrophobic (or extremely water-repellent) surfaces, I thought I'd share a couple of images I took, in case people are not that aware of the subject:

I actually needed to study the properties of this surface underwater, but as I prepared the coating on a silicon chip, I had a hard time sinking it. So to illustrate the water-repellency, I deposited some drops on the chip as it floated in the beaker:
