So, monkeys originated in Asia & arrived in the new world 40 million years ago...

With the dinosaurs being wiped out 65 million years ago, it sounds like monkeys filled holes in the food chain globally, in a geological time scale...
Botanists exclude the monkeys from the hominid chain... possibly that is an oversight?

I agree with Lee, this is pretty fascinating data.
