The other aspect of this alleged "find", if that it was for real, it
would have been splashed all over the news by now. The Iranian
government would certainly to promoting it for its tourism aspect
alone.

It seems like a lot of people are having fun with the hobby of
using Photoshop to create fictional images of spectacular fossil
finds. For another example, see "Re: Who owns "giantology.net"
at [www.hallofmaat.com].

Another example is a simple entry, which was recycled without the
permission of the artist as an Internet hoax, in the Photoshop
"Archaeological Anomalies 2" contest is discussed in "Solving the
mystery of the Giant Skeleton" by Sanal Edamaruku at
[www.rationalistinternational.net].

A messageboard discussion can be found at the Museum of
Hoaxes at [www.museumofhoaxes.com]. The Archaeological
Anomalies 2 entries are at [www.worth1000.com].

Of course there was Onyate Man, who rise and fall is documented
by links at [www.nmsr.org], [www.nmsr.org], and [www.nmsr.org].
