That's exactly the point. In 10 years the "establishment" has gone from total scepticism to the award of its best-known accolade. Why, because the science was good and the results spoke for themselves. This in spite of the vested interests of the pharmacorps that supposedly control scientific output and supress anything that affects their profits. I've seen the H. pylori story used over and over agian to "prove" how science ignores the "truth" in favour of entrenched ideas. I personally think that 10 years to overturn decades of received wisdom is pretty impressive.
