Interesting times indeed. When the new particle collider comes online and fails to find the Higgs Bosun at the newly predicted mass (when that new mass came from the fact it wasn't predicted at the mass it was originally considered to 'have'), things will start to become even more interesting.

Until then I guess we should all sit about and consider the experts have it all sussed ?

On the other hand we could use occams razor and wonder if Einstein was spot on about the loss of the broad horizon in science. You can always invent new entities to explain anomalies, the pseudo croud are almost as expert at it as the theoretical physicists have become.

This is another good paper that will be part of the solution (if it only considered extra dimensions!)

Even if I am completely wrong, you are still spot on. These are interesting times.
