A pretty short and elementary one. We all know that bathroom spring scales measure weight and give mass by using a particular value for g. I don't know this value for most household scales, but i think it's the standard 9.81. Well, that's interesting particularly for those mindful of their own weight (or mass!). g can be as low as 8.3 in some places! So how is it possible for one to obtain a real value for one's mass?

(btw, i don't know if this is correct, so feel free to correct me if i'm wrong)
