This goes to demonstrate that renewables must take priority whenever possible, and nuclear must remain a last resort. As my mate who works in energy production said, when I suggested that nuclear was the solution "but it produces really nasty stuff, that isn't around naturally"

I reckon Selafield should close now, they mucked up with the Japanes a couple of years ago, who wouldn't use the fuel they were sent as the quality procedures had not been properly followed iirc.
