Boggus! This is not the real argument at all since ID does
not assume anything about supernatural means!!!
ID assumes an "intelligent" sequence of events vs. a "random" sequence" of events! That's it. Also, every good programmer knows that code (any code) does not program itself and also that code can be layered, structured and repeated and not "randomly" organized...

Come on! Most programmers (Information Theory and Software Enginneering 101!) know very well that many "programs", specially the large and complex programs, are
not that precisely constructed! As matter of fact, many good programs like Linux, are a hodgepodge of code from different programmers that share open source code that has "evolved' throughout the years...
So, once again, what you bring to the table is another boggus argument!
> In fact, the genome resembles nothing so much as a hodgepodge of borrowed, copied,

Welcome to true reality! That is how most complex software programs are also written! LOL
> It works, and it works brilliantly;
Indeed, so does Linux...

Not at all! Again, Information Theory suggests otherwise. It works
only because of Intelligent Design. Without such design, all programs would just crash or would be stuck in permanent infinite loops! Testing, execution provide the necessary tools for bug fixing and innovation and to then discard what fails in favor of what succeeds.
BTW, all complex software program have bugs (errors) in them. Even the largest companies like Microsoft are always trying to fix these bugs and security problems, etc...
> The organisms that remain alive today, ourselves included, are evolution’s great
> successes.”
Indeed, but primarily due to a great and robust design...
Note that this argument has just started and I am also very glad to see more and more professionals and scientists joining the intelligent design side of the argument! To me, this is another very clear sign of true and real organized and intelligent evolution (with a design and specific goals to achieve!) at work vs. just random DE!!!
