Yes walking with dinosaurs was really bad. I actually bought the book that accompanied it as a christmas present for my uncle (called Peter and well informed on biology and english history). He said thankyou politely - but it was only later when I actually watched some of it I realised what a c**p present it was for him of all people.

But I didn't mind this one even though it was a bit patronising. I just liked the clear way they showed things like the fact that the backbone only evolved once. And I liked the way the showed the point at which 4 limbs and 5 digits was set, especially when shown in relation to the horse where effectivily the digits fold inside the forefinger and the nail becomes the hoof etc. It was just little things like that that I think would keep the average person intertested and make it real to them - if you like.
