I'm afraid thats not a very good argument. Firstly the basic functioning of the brain known to be electromagnetic - which means it produces fields that are present outside of the physical brain. And secondly many of the major scientific theories on consciouness (such as the Penrose-Hameroff Model - [www.quantumconsciousness.org] ) employ Quantum Mechanics to a degree that non locality is natural to the models.
