I did confirm that the plaque about Madoc at Fort Morgan had been taken down a long time ago. I called DeSoto State Park and nobody that I spoke to knew who had written that page and seemed shocked when I told them it said that Madoc was here before DeSoto... they are supposed to call me back.

Also I sent you a paper Searching for Welsh Indians and I just ordered the book Madoc: The Making of a Myth by Welsh historian Gwyn Williams.
