You have a good point, dark. I didn't look at the photo the same way as I was supposed to, according to the study. I'm guessing it's because I was taught to sketch and paint (concentrating not just on main object but context) as a young child by my grandfather. So, I think there probably is in-betweens dependent on differing experiences and that the study was a generalization...as in most Chinese see this way compared to most Americans seeing another way.
