Very interesting. My house in on the 1904 map of Glasgow. Pretty much the same as it was, apart from the 1960's motorway scheme that smashed itsway right across the centre of the town. It may surprise people to know, but Glasgow centre has a lot of beautiful building and was a model city in late Victorian times due to the shipbuilding and international trade money. Unfortunately the 60's motorway divided the whole old city into two areas - bad move.
