One of my favourite numbers has always been 37 and I embraced it long before I ever heard about Leopold's fictitious day, June 16th 1904. It came back to haunt me when I realized that I was born exactly 37 years after the Dublin event, June 16th 1941. I also lived in Bloomfield Rd for 3 years, 3.7 actually, and so a number of coincidences seem to mount up. Not that I pay any attention to it but it does become a small talking point over a beer on any given Saturday in a tatty Irish bar.
