Speaking of accents, I am curious about how the accents of native speakers of English sound when these speakers are talking in another language. For example, when they speak French do they sound somewhat Germanic? Perhaps Ritva could say how they sound when when speaking Finnish? Or, Paul V., about how does the accent sound when they speak Norse? Prema, have you ever heard Tamil spoken by a native Engkish speaker? If so, what is it like? ...I'm almost afraid to ask Frank how native English speakers sound when they speak German.
