A picture tells a thousand words. That's why I did graphics, communications, CAD etc - Computers can do things a drawing can never do, however, a hand sketch, or a well made engineering drawing, can still do things a computer can't.

I think you're right about the influence of the games tho. i recently played amultiplayer flight sim and it was excellent, although dynamically not as good as F29 which was out in 1992!
