Skinwalkers are equal opportunity terrorists. Their victims can be of any race and any tribe. Caucasian missionaries, teachers and doctors on the reservation can be targetted just as much as any Navajo. Funny you should mention the Hopi. The Hopi do get plagued by skinwalkers and are probably the one tribe, next to the Navajo, that have the most trouble with them. Considering that skinwalkers are Navajo, it's just yet another thing that the Hopi grumble about in regards to Navajos, lol.

Visitations have been reported off the reservation as well. A large percentage of the bordertown (towns just outside the reservation) populations are aware of skinwalkers as well. Skinwalkers have been known to enter even larger cities to plague their victims--as far as Phoenix, Tuscon and Albuquerque. However, they mostly stick to the reservation and bordertowns.

Persistent visitations are very rare, however. Some families, like my husband's, have had problems with them for several generations. Other people can go their entire lives out here without ever seeing or hearing one. They will know of them however from secondhand accounts. I think you should be safe in either New York or London.


Skinwalkers definitely are things that go bump in the night but I'll talk more about that later.
