lol, the schools in my area still use hand written report cards, complete with the written comment section. I about died laughing last year when my son brought home a report card that said "Odin needs to apply himself". The reason why it was so funny is that the very same words were on my report card for my entire school record--as well as my mothers

Apparently, the "need to apply oneself" is genetic in my family, hee hee. The irony is that both my mother and myself talked to my son about it and he has decided to break the family tradition. He's now fully applying himself at school and is a straight A student.
