I'm not convinced it's the kid. There's just not enough solid evidence to convince me at all, and too many holes in the story. "Looks like the kid" isn't good enough for me. A couple of weeks ago I saw a guy that was the spitting image of my late father. I dragged my wife over to make sure my mind wasn't playing tricks with me. She was stunned by the similarity too.
