I see "The Egypt Code", Robert Bauval's new book, is launching on 2nd March 2006.

Quite looking forwards to it....no doubt lots of heated discussion to follow.

Apart from that, BBC1's 'Egypt' tonight was on Champollion, who first translated the hieroglyphs, - 2 parts - and was excellent - better than the tut one, and Belzoni.

Meanwhile Prof Dan Cruikshank concentrated on BB2 on Ramesses III's murder by Ti from his Harem, which was recorded on a single court document papyrus.
