Sue,

The following appears in today's The Times (UK, Fri 18 Nov):

"The 1960s classic TV show The Prisoner is set to be revived as a high-tech series. Patrick McGoohan starred in and co-wrote the series about a spy held captive in a prison known as The Village. Now Granada has announced a big-budget production revival and is in talks with Sky to screen an eight-part series."

Given your liking for the original series, I thought that this may be of interest to you. smiling smiley

I fear that the use of the words 'big-budget production' does not bode well, though. sad smiley
It suggests a shift towards visual impact and an over-dependence on special effects - to me, the single biggest failing of many films today.
Imagine the fun the SFX folks are going to have with The Village's 'weather balloon' guards...

Regards,

MJT
