Interesting...my hubby and I were having the same conversation a few nights ago ourselves but I told him that we could have large bugs like in Starship Troopers. You know, he hates cockroaches.

Actually, I told him that it would be almost impossible to say. If we look at our own planet, we can see a stunning array of shapes and forms. I'm sure it would be just as diverse on other planets that can sustain life. Other than that, I'd say the most common lifeform is probably a bacteria.
