Hi prema,

I think it's a culture thing and less personal belief so it's okay as long as the discussions talk about this transition without engaging into personal beliefs...

The Catholic church did this as well out here on the Navajo reservation. My son goes to St. Michaels Indian School that has a mission affiliated with it that are over 100 years old. They teach not only catholic belief but Navajo as well, including Navajo language. So, it is already integrated out here. The franciscans at the mission in St. Michaels were the first group to actually put the Navajo language into a dictionary format decades ago.

I'm glad to see that something similiar is occurring in India. I think it is a good approach because one's heritage is so very important, imo.
