I'm getting bored of this but you are getting so far from reality as time goes on its bizarre. You completely misconstrued my comment about the pyramids. I said that we may not have specific evidence on Jesus and Mary Magdalene in the same way we don't have evidence that aliens didn't build the pyramids. What kind of evidence do you need to prove a person existed ? Their pasport with a photo in it ??? According to all the records outside of the imaginary ones in Brown et als head, Mary Magdalene died in Ephesus and was buried there. Her body was venerated there and then in the 9th century was transferred to Constantinople by the Byzantine emperor Leo the Wise. There are good historical records for all of this and there are no records anywhere with this alternative version. Thats why I used the example of the pyramids being built by aliens. There is no evidence for that and there is plenty of evidence for them being built by Egyptians

This is part of the whole problem! He claims the Priory of Sion dates back to the year 1099 and was specifically charged with guarding this secret about Jesus survival etc. Its the whole basis of the book. He says its completely true. Its well known to be
complete rubbish. There was a Roman Catholic monastic order called the "priory of sion" founded in Jerusalem at the monastery of Our Lady of Mt. Zion in about 1100 AD. This order ceased to exist in 1617 when it was absorbed by the Jesuits and has absolutely no relation other than name to the one invented by Pierre Plantard last century. If you think the way Brown abuses the reality is "a bit misrepresented" then I'd love to know what you consider downright mischaracterisation, subvertion of the truth and downright falsehood!
He uses "Les Dossier Secret parchments" from the Bibliotheque Nationale as evidence for the membership in the Priory of Sion including Leonardo da Vinci, Isaac Newton etc etc as the Grandmasters involved in keeping the documents and "their secret". Brown says thats true, that its fact. But its well know that they are
forgeries! No one disputes these things except people who have just read Dan Brown who come out being extremely confident that this part of the story is true because

On top of all this he claims the book and its background where "extensively researched". And yet the book claims the Olympics were held for Venus in 8-year cycles but they were actually held for Zeus in 4-year cycles. He says the Gospel of Philip was written in Aramaic. He says the church burnt 5 million withces. He claims "orthodox" christianity "stole" Jesus original message from his "original followers". Thats complete nonsense and well known by historians as such.
There is so much rubbish presented as fact and its all freely available on the internet along with the reasons why its rubbish. You can just type debunking DaVinci Code into google and you will get plenty more details of other things claimed in the book as "fact" which are in fact nothing of the sort. Like these;
