I think Darko is definitely worth a look. Unpredictable and well acted. Lost in Translation was the most disappointing waste of film I've suffered through in ages. Kept waiting for something to happen, then mercifully, it was over. If it hadn't got so much good press I never would have sat thru that. I have nothing against "talky" movies, but that was just a whole lot of fluffed nothing. Just ordered Eternal Sunshine based on the above recs.
