We just saw the trailer for the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory remake on Monday and I still don't know quite to make of it. Gone is the Gene Wilder version of Willy Wonka, full of kinetic energy, wild hair and crazy expressions balanced with moments of pure calm. Johnny Depp plays the new Willy Wonka. As much as I enjoy Johnny Depp (Captain Jack Sparrow was so great--one of my fave roles), I just don't know about this new Willy Wonka movie!!! Every time I watch the trailer, I am vaguely but definitely...perturbed. lol
