MY father acted with him at the Crest Theatre (Toronto) for two seasons.60 & 61 ttbomk


(as an aside, the producer of the Crest seasons was Mavor Moore for whom the Toronto Theatre awards , for which my Mother was a founding board member,was named)




I used to make sandwiches ( and open beers) for him(Vernon), my dad and a number of the other cast members on poker nights at our house.




He spoke kindly of my Father at his memorial service.
