Green flash as meteor blazes across sky in Australia

Residents in north-east Australia caught a glimpse of what scientists believed to be a meteor on Saturday evening. Footage captured by dashboard cameras and CCTV show an object flying across the sky, before a burst of white light and a loud boom witnesses described as “earth shattering”.
