UFO believers were thrilled this week when the Senate Intelligence Committee inserted language into the draft of an authorization bill requiring the Director of National Intelligence and the Defense Department to conduct an evaluation of UFOs (or, in military parlance, “unidentified aerial phenomena,” or “unidentified aerial vehicles”) and report the results.
