Still remember me?! I had some career issues a while back, so I thought it was best I left the forums to concentrate on resolving them.

Well, I’m not doing to badly now! I have a proper job with even some money to spare. In fact, I now have the money and holidays to visit the country I’ve always wanted to visit...Egypt!!!

I thought I’d come here to seek advice from those of you who have been to the country. So what is the best way to visit the country? Should I join a tour? Unlike so many of my friends, I'm of course interested in the history, ancient history and archaeology of the country. In fact there is a good chance I’ll be going alone. Not that I would mind...since I’ve traveled to and explored quite a few countries and cities by myself already. Thing is, I never take sick days off work, so I now have a lot holidays to use up....and I mean a lot! Any travel advice and recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Btw....how is everyone? How many Maatians are still here? Oh and if old rules apply, please put this thread in the appropriate forum...the Egypt one?!
