The McWane Center in Birmingham is one of the 'hands-on' science museums for kids. We took Anna there Sunday and went through the Adventure Halls, the Imax movie "Mysteries of Egypt" and the Tutankhamen exhibition (these were all reproductions of course and they had done a pretty good job with them).

I'm taking this opportunity to show off pictures of two of my favorite people under the guise of showing how the McWane center teaches science to young minds..... smiling smiley

Sorry about the blur on this one ... no flash photography was allowed and Jeff was taking this picture using a long exposure on the camera .. he didn't hold the camera still well and Anna didn't hold herself still well.

While she was looking at the Anubis a lady came up to her and asked her "do you see the doggie" Anna just looked at her and said "its a jackal" ... that's my girl ....

We got her these two books and a Udjat jigsaw puzzle....
