I've seen it - its enormous.

Interestingly, the Romans called the leader of the Caledonian tribes at Mons Graupius 'Long Sword', although by Wallaces time the weaponry would have been influenced by Norman trends, and even Islamic technology, as the Crusades were underway during this period.
