This is the way the wolf I had was with the kids! Even grabbing "MOM" by the hand and dragging her down the hall if she didn't get to the fussing baby quick enough!

That sounds more like me!

This the way most rumors/ horror stories about certain breeds(Rots, pits, mastiffs, etc.) of dogs are beneficial for the protection of your family and property. The bad myths about wolves kept everyone away from the house after the first few weeks of actual howling happened! Even my father wouldn't take a chance with the wolf and he is built like
John Wayne and could have broke the dog in half if necessary! He told me to watch the way animals held themselves when in serious situations and this could tell you if it was a bluff, chest thumping, or serious warning. He said the first two weren't that dangerous but the third was when it was vitally important not to do anything foolish or the "shite would hit the fan!". He said the few times he had run-ins with the wolf, over the babies, that there was no doubt about intent!
