A couple of Scots players performed magic (albeit in different ways):

Chris Paterson was, quite simply, excellent yet again; must be a contender for player of the tournament (especially considering the utter dross he had in front of him).

Jason White went onto a large field in front of 40,000 people and contrived to make himself completely invisible for the best part of 80 minutes.
