Yes, I thought so too. There hadn't been a breath of wind for at least 2 hours, so it just accumulated on the bare branches. It stopped snowing for long enough to get a couple of clear pics. The rhus (the one in the middle of the hedge, with tangled branches) in particular looked amazing -- it's an amazing tree anyway: the leaves go flame-red in autumn.
