I went to start preparing our evening meal at half time and missed the first 165 seconds of the second half! Damn! It was a cracking game, though -- it was a pity there had to be a loser, because both sides played attractive, expansive rugby. Best game of the tournament so far, by a long way.

ALso enjoyed the second half of the England/Ireland game; again, some very good rugby. Did you hear Guscott afterwards? He has an enormous downer on Steve Thompson (who seemed to be doing his best to emulate the character from which he gets his nickname). I thought the refereeing was appalling, and not just because of the disallowed English tries and O'Driscoll's foot in touch when he collected Hodgson's tap-down; there was a heck of a lot going on off the ball, especially in the first half, most of it perpetrated by England.
