1/3 cup raisins
5 slices bread
1/4 cup butter
2 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
2 cups milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
Grease a pudding dish and layer the raisins on the bottom. The the bread into 3 slices each. Melt the butter and dip the bread into the butter, then layer it on the bottom of the dish. Mix together eggs, sugar, milk and vanilla and pour on top.
Put the dish into a larger pan of water. Bake at 375F about 45 minutes, until knife comes out clean.
