Remember a story a teacher told me of their uncle using frozen turkeys as cannonballs in a makeshift cannon he had made from large pipe and flat steel as a joke. Between him and his wife they had gotten quite a few turkeys over the holidays.These people had received turkeys from Work, parents, and siblings and the uncle joked about not eating turkey until the next holiday season.
Some pipe a bit bigger then the turkey, flat steel for a backing plate and frame, some wadding, a judicial amount of acetylene/oxygen mixture, and a fire source would get you a high flying frozen turkey, or chicken in this case!

Perhaps someone around there got tired of all the chicken for supper. "Feel like chicken tonight? Chicken tonight?"
