What I liked was the very kickoff in the text:

Stealing toiletries and even bathrobes from hotels is one thing, but a couple have taken pilfering to new heights after liking their hotel shower so much they took it home with them.

Do I read this wrong, or is the reporter actually saying stealing the bathrobes and towels is acceptable?
