We can carry concealed guns into schools, taverns, and government buildings. We must allow our children the freedom to pray in schools. I could go on...
However, we may not allow local municipalities to create and enforce any statutes that might infringe of the above, we may not engage in certain activities between consenting adults in the privacy of our own homes, and we may not wear pants that show our undergarments. Well, at least we almost couldn't. The state Senate shot that one down.
If they had indeed voted to ban low-slung pants, then I would have started a lobbying campaign for bannin the exposure of bra straps...
