Hi,
I don't think this is the truth.
About a week before his death, Göring wrote a letter to a family friend, a doctor, who provided the capsule. In this letter Göring writes, that times are so hard, all he could do was "to bite his teeth firmly together". Two (or three) days before Görings death, his daughter was allowed in (for the first time) to see him, and Goering was allowed to actually hug his daughter "goodbye". At this occasion he lifted his daughten on a chair and buzzing around her arranged her dress and was noisily telling how big a girl she had become.
