I completely agree. However I also think nonsense to should be laughed at thoroughly before its attacked. I firmly believe in laughter as both medecine and an offensive weapon against idiocy. It helps me keep my perspective when it seems like the rest of the world is exploring the outer reach of idiocy.

On the subject of the forum, whoever invented it, and also to Kat who keeps it going, thank you thank you thankyou!!!!! I kiss your feet in gratitude! This board changed my entire outlook on message boards (i had been convinced that only small minded idiots intrested only in dragging everyone else's opinion through the mud frequented message boards due to some bad experiences.) It also gives me a place to be geeky and discuss and read about my favorite topic, Ancient Egypt!

I just have one tiny complaint. There's no Bast or Isis smilie!
