Dear Friends,

Yesterday, Irina (my wife) and I visited the U.S. Citizenship
and Immigration Services Office in New Orleans, Louisiana.
After about 15 minutes of filling out forms and submitting
yet another round of photographs and fingerprints, she officially
had her conditional status as a Permanent Resident Alien removed.
Irina is now a Permanent Resident "Nonspace" (as Irina often adds)
Alien. Futhermore, in August, she will be able to apply to for
naturalization as an US citizen, which she we do as soon as she
able. It has been a long process with lots of paperwork.

For some pictures of us visiting her family in St. Petersburg,
before last Christmas, a person can go to;
