Now, it's probably the spice not the chili as in beans and etc. Could be a misspell because a chile pepper is spelled...chile. Actually, chocolate can be used in entirely different ways than what one would expect and same with peppers. Jalapeno can be made into a really spicy and sweet jelly (love it) and there is, of course, mexican dishes that use chocolate for a sauce...ie pollo con mole, which is basically a chocolate sauced chicken.
