That sounds like an Italian Soda, which is pretty much carbonated water, cream or milk, and a flavored syrup. They are definitely good. I have a couple bottles of Torani flavored syrups to make them at home.
I couldn't do coffee from a jar or can. I'm originally from Portland, Oregon, which is officially the land of coffee/espresso neurotics. I buy the whole beans (Starbucks, Seattle's Best or Millstone), grind a bit up in my coffee grinder, use cold purified water in my Krups coffee/espresso machine (god forbid, not tap!! don't ever use tap!!) and with a natural unbleached coffee filter. My inlaws think that my method of making coffee is extraordinarily different but boy, do they love my coffee! Never see a "normal" flavor of coffee in my house either, really. Kona is about the most normal flavor I have, lol.
Mocha Latte if I'm headed to a Starbucks though there was one that I loved by a local Portland coffee shop called The Velvet Hammer (pretty much a spiced mocha latte).
For tea, it's either The Republic of Tea's Blackberry Sage, green teas and, of course, Chai Tea.
