<< ... due to essential maintenance
and structural repairs being carried out on our London
premises, the library and archive collections of the Egypt
Exploration Society may be less accessible to researchers
and visitors for the foreseeable future.

While we strive to continue providing physical access
wherever possible, we recommend giving at least one month
notice to reserve a consultation (for the full procedure,
visit [www.ees.ac.uk]).

We regret that the current situation may mean that we
must close at late notice and without prior warning.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Access to our online collections via our catalogue and
Flickr will continue and we endeavour to make more
available digitally where physical access is restricted.

If your research project requires extensive use of the
Society's collections, please contact
archives@ees.ac.uk<mailto:archives@ees.ac.uk>
in advance with details of your research so that we
can inform you on the accessibility of the required
materials over the course of your project and, where
possible, make them available.

Please check our website and social media channels where
any closures will be announced as soon as we are aware. >>
