Dear Friend of GAT (Ed.: Gwynedd Archaeological Trust)

Would you like to volunteer with us over the summer? We’d love you to take part in ‘Accessioning Arch Cam’ - our new record creation project. And you can do it all from home!

We’d like you to read through online articles in Archaeologia Cambrensis (the Journal of the Cambrian Archaeological Association) and find information on archaeological and historical sites in north-west Wales, which can then be added to the Historic Environment Record (HER).

What you’ll get: You’ll learn more about the area’s history, and help GAT to bring this information to wider audiences. Your name will be on any new records you add.

What we’ll get: new information to add to the HER, and more people engaging with our records.

We’ll provide guidance and instruction for those who take part.
