Join the FIne Arts Museums of San Francisco for a very special lecture
by famed Egyptian archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass, presented by the
Ancient Art Council of the Fine Arts Museums. Immediately following
his talk, Dr. Hawass will sign copies of his most recent book,
Discovering Tutankhamun: From Howard Carter to DNA. Guests are also
invited to enjoy a reception in the Hall of Antiquities.
Ticket sales from this event will support the acquisition of an
Egyptian carvedwood statuette of Seneb, scribe of the royal documents,
dating to the early Middle Kingdom (ca. 1985–1878 BC), one of the
golden ages in Egypt’s dynastic history. Please join in helping to
make the Legion of Honor, where this exceptional piece is on view, its
permanent home.

Tickets: $150 per person. All sales are final, tickets are
